Gun Control

Student:  "Mrs. A, I was thinking the other day about how I would like to get shot in the leg."
(I gave student an odd look)
Student (continuing):  "Yea because that would be a great story to tell my grandchildren.  I could tell them all about how I got shot in the leg.  I mean, my grandma doesn't have any cool stories.  She's never been shot."
(I gave student another odd look)
Student (continuing):  "Wait.  It's not like I want my grandma to get shot now.  I love my grandma.  I just would like her to have gotten shot when she was my age.  That would be a great story."
(silence)
Me:  "I'm walking away now."
