Me: "You need to make sure that you start in the correct place on your scantron and bubble in the right letters. The test was stapled a bit weird. Also, make sure that your essays are two paragraphs long and in complete sentences."
Student #1: "Where do we write our essays?"
(silence)
Me: "On paper."
Student #2 (to Student #1): "Seriously? Where did you think we wrote them? In our minds?"
