Student #1: Mrs. A, I Googled your name and found your blog. I can't believe that you blog about us!
Student #2: What?! Where is the blog?
Student #1: Just Google: Mrs. Ananich.
(Student #2 - after finding the blog begins reading posts aloud.)
Student #1: Mrs. A! That is so not right! How can you write the stuff we say?!
Me: What are you talking about?
Student #1: You have a blog! And it's about us!
Me: I most certainly do not! How do you know it is even me?
(Student #2 begins to read the biography of Ananich's Academy)
Student #1: See?! Clearly it's you!!!
Me (outraged): It is not me! Someone has clearly taken what I have said and posted things about us. Does it sound like me to do such a thing?
Student #1: Yes.
Student #2: I would say, "yes" too, but look at how mad Mrs. A is getting. Clearly, someone is stealing her identity.
(silence)
Student #1: What is happening?! We need to find this person! Who is posting all this stuff?
Me: I don't know, but can we stop talking about it, I am getting really upset?
Student #1: Yes, but you know who I bet it is? I bet it's that kid that stops in here every day.
Me: I bet it is!
(knock at the door)
Student #3: Hi Mrs. A.
Student #1 (shouting): I KNEW IT! IT IS YOU! YOU STOP IN HERE EVERY DAY! STOP STEALING MRS. A's IDENTITY!
(silence)
Student #3: What are you talking about?
Me: You may want to leave...they are all fired up.
(Student #3 leaves)
Student #1: It is totally Student #3! Aren't you mad?!
Me: Yes, but we need to move on now. Getting angry won't get the blog taken down.
Student #1: Okay, but this isn't over.
