Four Weddings And A....

(Students are researching one famous person from the 1920s)
Student: Mrs. A, it says here that my famous person was married four times.  Does that mean he had three weddings?
Me: Well...he probably had four weddings.
(Silence)
Student: Ohhh that makes more sense.
