Dr. Seuss?

(Students writing children's books about Michigan history)
Student:  "Can I write, 'One Wagon, Two Wagon, Red Wagon, Blue Wagon'?
(silence)
Me:  "Ummm.  Isn't that Dr. Seuss?"
(silence)
Student:  "No...he wrote about fish."
(silence)
Me:  "Yea...no.  You can't copy someone's work."
Student:  "Seriously?!  I am writing about Wagons!  Dr. Seuss wrote about fish!  It's totally different."
Me:  "Yea..still no."
(silence)
Student:  "Ok...how about this: 'Three Wagon, Four Wagon...'"
Me:  "Yea...I'm walking away now."
