Me: "Remember, we are going to meet in the classroom tomorrow and then head to the computer lab so you can write your papers."
Student: "Do you want us to type our papers?"
(silence)
Me: "We are going to the computer lab."
Student: "Yea..."
Me: "Do I want you to type your papers in the computer lab?"
(silence)
(student staring at me blankly)
Me: "No, I want you to sit at the computer, don't log-in, and hand write your paper."
Student: "Seriously?"
I think you should have let him hand write the paper in cursive and see how well that worked!
