So Old

Student:  "Mrs. A, I'm going to be the youngest president.  I don't know why so many people wait so long to run for it."
Me:  "Well...you know that you have to be 35 to run for president?"
Student:  "What?!  That's way too old!!!!"
Me:  "It's not that old."
Student:  "How do you know, you aren't even close to that?"
Me:  "I'm going to be 35 this year.  So..."
(silence)
(Student is looking a bit afraid)
Student:  "Well...you know what they say?...30 is the new 20!"
(Student - proud - looks very relieved)
