Student: "Mrs. A, I found these elephant earrings in my pocket!"
Me: "Awesome."
Student: "It's your favorite animal, right?"
Me: "Yes."
Student: "I want you to have them."
Me: "I'm not going to take your earrings."
(Student places earrings in my hand and begins to sing You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins)
Me: "Well, how can I say no to that?"
Student (whispering): "You can't."
