(Students asking questions as they leave about their projects)

Student:  "Mrs. A, I have a question for you."
Me:  "Ok."
Student:  "Do chickens pee?"
(silence)
Student:  "I can tell you...they don't.  I learned that fact last night.  They don't pee."
