Student:  "Mrs. A, she (points to another student) has a question, but she is afraid to ask it!"
Me:  "What's her question?"
Student:  "She wants to know who the US fought in the Vietnam War."
(silence)
Me:  "She wants to know who the United States was fighting during the Vietnam War in Vietnam?"
Student:  "Yes, but she's afraid to ask you."
(silence)
Me:  "They were fighting...Vietnam."
Student:  "That's what I told her!  She didn't believe me!"
