Me: "So, did anyone do anything for spring break that was fun and that they would like to share?"
Student: "I got spit on by a homeless man."
(silence)
Me: "I'm sorry...I'm going to need more information than that."
Student: "My family and I were in Pittsburg and a homeless man asked for $5 for a sandwich. I only had $3, but gave it to him. I walked away. He called me back and spat on my face."
(silence)
Me: "That is vile. Did you shower six times after that?"
Student: "Yes, I used two bars of soap just to wash my face."
