I Wish I Was Taller...

Student:  "Mrs. A, when I put out my rap album, will you buy it?"
Me:  "I don't get one for free?!"
Student:  "No."
Me:  "Alright, I will buy your album."
Student:  "What are you going to do when I get really big?"
Me:  "I'm going to say, 'hey, everyone, look at him, he's super tall!  What are you, like seven feet now?'"
(silence)
Student (using a LARGE amount of sarcasm) :  "Oh, I get it.  You're just sooooo funny!  I was talking about getting big in the music industry and you took that to mean that I was going to be taller.  Hilarious, Mrs. A."
Other Student:  "That WAS funny.  You had no idea what she was talking about for a good minute.  That's why she's funny."
