Students were given a test last week and failed it miserably. They were given the option to retake the test at home, but had to return it before school today. Below is part of a student letter thanking us for allowing the students to retake the test:
Taking home the test really helped me acquire more intellectual knowledge about the start and end of the Cold War. This information will be useful during my lifetime, if I ever have to go on Jeopardy. These are the days of our lives that we must acquire as much intellectual information inside of our neurological gray matter. I care about my grades more than anything, kind of. I put all effort into grades, but if there was a burning orphanage, I would stop caring about my grades for a little bit and help the orphans out of the building, and then I would teach them how to sing. After that I would go back to my homework and care about my grades. Unless one of the orphans ate my homework, because they were hungry, I would finish this to the best of my ability.
