Party Time

Me (to a student that is rarely in school):  "Look!  You're back!  We should have a party everytime you are in school!"
Student:  "That would be AMAZING and that is why you are my favorite teacher!"
(silence)
Me:  "Yea, we could have a party once a month! That would be great!"
(silence for a few moments)
Me:  "See what I did there?  I pretty much burned you for skipping."
Student:  "Yea, I got that."
(silence)
Other Student:  "She got you pretty good on that one.  You were all excited about having a party."
